Louis Comfort Tiffany (U.S.A 1848-1933) American artist and designer, who is renowned for his development and works in stained glass thus Tiffany is synonymous with his influence on the Aesthetic & Art Nouveau movements in America. Tiffany was himself, a glassblower and founder of the collaborative; Associated Artists and the first design director of his fathers company, Tiffany & Co. The company had been founded by his father Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1837. Tiffany expanded his fathers company and designed jewellery, glass vases & stain glass panels, enamels, metal work and lamps.
